We are a small 8 unit kennel and we choose to be this small so we can dedicate our time and energy to the dogs boarding with us who enjoy our attention. If i may ask you to consider this when requesting viewings as in high season it can be difficult for use to accomidate as we are generally out and about with the dogs already boarding and this may one day be your dog and where would you prefer out attention to be on them or on new business.

We are happy for anyone to visit and low/winter season is better as we drop to 4 units so there is more time for our new customers to check us out.

 

We currently have spaces available in our Doggy Day Care programme. This will be a Tuesday/Thursdays drop off as early as 6.30am and pick up as late as 8.30pm, for more information please contact us. 

 

What included in Boarding?

Take the stress out of boarding your dogs with our new pick up drop off service (must be booked as slots are limited). We have a custom designed van with fans for your dogs health and comfort when travelling.

 

Dogs Big and Small, we take them all - We don’t price on the size of your dog as we provide each dog with the individual care and attention they need, we don’t believe that this should be based on size:

our prices include pick up and drop off service and all walks and outings food, bedding and treats/toys and full use of the agility room.We offer seasonal play and outing to beaches and forests and you can keep track of your dogs fun on the FB pawsandpups boarding page where we post regular pictures.

 

discounts offered for 2 dogs sharing (family member from same household only sharing a kennel this is withing boarding licence guidlines)

 

24th-26th & 31st December & 1st January have an additional cost please request a quote

 

We have 2 spaces available for in-home boarding priced pdpd. These spaces are booked up quickly so don't leave it too late. All drop off and pick up times need to be pre-arranged with management we are happy to negotiate these outwith working hours where possible with prior notice.

 

Weddings

We offer a wedding service package for dogs boarding with us that includes bringing your beloved dog for picture on your special day. Please contact us for additional information and prices.

 

Special needs

Please ensure that you provide full disclosure of any issues or medical conditions or any medication requirements in your enquiry form as this may change your conditions or tarrif for boarding. Any information not divulged may lead to boarding being cancelling without refund.

 

We are more than happy to work with dogs with special Medical, dietary or behavioural needs as long as we have been provided with information in advance and we all agree to the terms and conditions.

 

Day care - Full Day including walk (6.30am-6.30-8.30pm ) - 2nd dog discount.

 

We periodically have special offers available for bookings of 7+ days (not in high season), please get in touch to request availability.

 

We welcome visits but these are by arrangement and please bare in mind our priority is to the dogs boarding so you will need to fit around our obligations to walking, feeding and playing with them.

 

We are a small family run establishment with only 8 kennels allowing us to provide a quiet, calm and relaxing environment. Our kennels offer a personalised service we keep your dogs routine and they get plenty of out of kennel exercising from 6am-10pm. we also use the training/agility centre for rainy day exercise and offer seasonal fun such as the paddling and sand pits or just hanging with us in the garden. Our aim to make their stay stress free and the new pro thermal custom built kennels are designed to keep your dog calm with a large run to relax in and a comfy bed to sleep in.

 

Kennel times

We live on site and open our kennels no later than 6am in summer and 7am in winter and they close around 10.30pm for bed & lights out. Dogs are taken off site for morning toileting and unless the weather is too hot they are also walked on a daily basis off site. Your dogs safety is our priority especially in hot weather so they are only walked if suitable and if not they are exercised and played with in the indoor training area (22mx15m) so they do not become dehydrated or exhausted.

 

Exercise and Walking

Your dogs have free access the the 24mx20m astro turft area for toilet needs and play, we offer pack walking to trained and socialised dogs. Each member of staff will be responsible for no more than 4 dogs for the duration of their stay to ensure we can provide a personal service and you will be given a run-down of your dogs stay with us on your return. Only Myself or Megan book dogs in or out of boarding with us. To ensure this runs smoothly please ensure you confirm a drop off or pick up time at booking.

 

Feeding

We will keep your dog to your feeding routine and the food provided will be whatever you request we cater for dry, wet & raw/barf food. If however you decided that you want to hand in food or if your dog is on a specified veterinary diet you are welcome to provide us with this. However, you should be aware this has no impact on the cost of your dogs boarding. Treats are provided on your approval subject to dietary requirements.

 

Boarding Transport

Paws & Pups are trying to take the stress out of boarding for both famlies and fur babies. with this in mind we are piloting a transport option for our boarders who are staing with us for 7 days or more. 

 

If your dog is boarding with us for a week or more, we will seek to wash him/her at least once, free of charge, prior to collection if requested- this will be subject to your approval and only if the dog is comfortable and co-operative, as we do not want your dog to be stressed or to put our staff at risk. This service is subject to manager’s discretion.

 

Grooming

We do not offer a grooming service but we would be happy to transport your dog to your preferred grooming service or arrange this on your behalf, subject to availability of appointments.
